The 4M200 ultra-large thrust reciprocating compressor unit, developed by the Reciprocating Compressor Division of Shengu Group for Fujian Fuhai Chuang Petrochemical Co., Ltd., has successfully passed mechanical running tests and acceptance under the joint witness of experts from the end owner Fuhai Chuang, PetroChina and Sinopec.

With an allowable integrated rod load of 2000 kN, this unit is the process reciprocating compressor with the world’s maximum allowable integrated rod load to date, as well as the world’s first delivered 2000 kN-class ultra-large thrust reciprocating compressor. Its successful development marks a major leap forward for China in the field of high-end reciprocating compressor equipment.
